As a former food critic and wine enthusiast, I embarked on a romantic escape at Hotel Newton in the Upper West Side. the staff were accommodating and swiftly moved us to a spacious room with essential amenities like a fridge and microwave, making our stay comfortable and convenient. The hotel's central location allowed for easy access to iconic NYC attractions such as Central Park and the American Museum of Natural History. We enjoyed a delightful dinner at Kouzan, a modern Japanese restaurant known for its diverse menu of sushi and sashimi, perfect for a cozy evening in. The neighborhood's vibrant cultural scene and proximity to Columbia University made our exploration of the area enriching and dynamic. A highlight was indulging in authentic Peruvian cuisine at Pio Pio 6, savoring the renowned Pollo a La Brasa and Aji Verda dishes. Overall, Hotel Newton provided a charming retreat in the heart of the Upper West Side, offering a blend of comfort, convenience, and culinary delights that catered to our taste for both adventure and relaxation.
